please go through the detail description of the issue below.
We ran a background job that assigns the forecast profile “No forecast”.
But in our selection there were no items selected, so the system added the “No forecast profile” to all the items (the entire planning book).
We would like to recover below table so all the assigned profiles for the items have the value they had before we ran the background job.
/sapapo/msdp_fcst2
Could any one help me out with the solution please.
Currently in Deployment Optimization Profile--- Deployment Parameter View--- SNP Checking horizon is 4 days.
If this Parameter (SNP Checking horizon) is changed to 7 days what will be its effects on the current scenario -- Advantages & Disadvantages.
Kindly highlight your views/ comment on above scenario.

Hi Experts,
I am currently working on Parallel processing profiles for DP background processing. I need to transport the profile to quality and I can do this through header TABLE VIEW --> TRANSPORT. But currently this option is disabled and do I need to check with security team to get access to this?
Also, could anyone give me some pointers on any alternate ways to transport the PP profiles.

I been successfully using Ides SAP Sales and Distribution module on SAP GUI for MAC. I had no problems with any t-codes. I recently started learning APO. Some of the t-codes are problem for example: SDP94. I have successfully checked and ran the same t-code on windows client.

When TLB results are published in ECC, it can be either a Sales Order (VMI situaiton) or can be a stock transport order (Internal transfers). Now these TLB orders have followed certain rules for a proper load to be built comprising of various products. Where in ECC (either in SO or STO) can I see this information about the loading information used in APO to build this TLB order?
When the planned orders are generated in PP/DS, I want to change the production version of certain planned orders. However I cannot find out where I can implement the enhancement. Anyone can help me? Thank you very much.
Dear PPDS experts,
I am facing problem with distribution key . I have updated the Distribution key GLEI (Equal distribution) in Production version and the same has been updated in the BOM component. When I run product Heuristics in the PPDS system is creating one planned order in APO and Respective dependent demand. When that Planned order moved to ECC system, because of the Distribution key it is splitting the order quantity in the planned order duration equally, but it is not splitting the dependent demand of the Component.
I would like to know is there any prerequisites/ settings for the component to the dependent demand split. Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hello All,
1. Forecast Area is one Characteristics (having values as GERMANY, FRANCE, INDIA, etc)
2. I have restricted user for Redetermine Alerts for GERMANY by authorization object, So now user is only able to redetermine alerts for GERMANY in /SAPAPO/AMON1.
3. Alert Profile contains only one Selection ID (for GERMANY eg. XXX) assigned to one Data View for Planning book.
4. Alert determined successfully for Selected Overall Profile.
5. Now When I load the same Selection ID XXX in Planning Book, I Select the DISPLAY ALERTS FOR CURRENT PLANNING BOOK & system shows me the Alerts here.
my question starts here,
When I select display the alerts for Current Planning Book, (for which I have load the XXX selection ID), System shows me alerts for GERMANY, FRANCE, INDIA, etc. i.e. for all Forecasting Area.
"I just want see the Alerts for GERMANY Only."
Is this possible ???

We have an automated batch job related to the proportional factor generation (program /SAPAPO/RMDP_SHARE_MANAGER). We have an incident where a user making changes in the planning book while this job run, thus the program ended immediately with a message "The selected data is currently locked by user". But the status of the job is set to Finished.
My question is
1. Is it a standard behavior of the program that it will not fail (or make it red status) if someone is locking the planning book?
2. Is there any way that this job should be set to a failed status whenever someone locked the planning book?

We are facing issue wherein SNP Network/Multilevel heuristic doesn’t give any results but Location heuristic is giving correct results.
Network is very simple: A --> B. Correct T lane with Means of Transport exists.
I have determined Low level code as well but no luck.
We are on SCM 7.0 and building new system from scratch. This problem exists for all the products.

I would like to use BADI "/SAPAPO/AM_ALERTLIST", method MODIFY_ALERTLIST to add a customer-specific field to display in the alert monitor and to fill it with my own data (instead of the user-key I would like to show the full name, getting data from the respective user-tables USR21 and ADRP).
So far I have succeeded in adding the new field to the control (modify t_fieldcat) but how can I populate it with my own data? I am not quite sure whether this is at all possible using this BAPI.

I have one plant(P1) in ECC and there are multiple storage locatoions(S1,S2,S3) are associated with it.
When created some stock in ECC for storage location S1 same is reflecting in APO but when creating stock for S2 and S3 it not visible in APO.
Could you please help where you do such setting which makes some storage location stock available in APO but others not and what i need to do in order to make S2 and S3 stock also available in APO

After I run the function 'firm objects' to fix production orders in /SAPAPO/CDPSB0, some of the production orders are still unfixed in some cases.
What's more, I cannot reproduce the failure. So I want to know when the function 'firm objects' will fail.
