How to configure a Time Bucket Profile

Dear experts,

 

I have a requirement for different buckets definition and last past days I have been working on that.

 

I could create a FYV as follow:

 

Txn: BO29

 

Month     Day     Period     Year shift

9               6          1               -

9               13         2               -

9               20         3               -

9               30         4               -

10             10         5               -

10             17         6               -

10             24         7               -

10             31         8               -

11             7           9               -

11             14         10             -

11             21         11             -

Txn: /SAPAPO/TR32 I created the Storage Bucket Profile  with the FYV

 

Txn: /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN, I assigned the SBP to the to the Planning Area

 

The problem came up when I tried to create the TBP on txn: /SAPAPO/TR30

The problem it's that I got an error message: "Input error 8 in row 1: see long text"

 

Do you know how can I solve this ??

 

I will really appreciate any suggestion or recommendation.

Product Interchangeability Help needed

Hi ,

 

We have situation in interchangeability where product is recognized by manufacturing year.

 

A(2010) -> B(2011)->C(2012)->D(2013), Even is there is demand on B,C,D Stock of product A( oldest) should be used first, then B(2011) after B stock is exhausted C(2012) needs to be considered..

 

Can this be achieved in standard without BADI implementation please let me know.

How to delete entry form /sapapo/locmap table

HI Guys.

 

We would like to remove an entry from /sapapo/locmap table.

 

we have APO system conected to two ERP system.

In //locmap table, a plant is  assigned to logical system ABCCLNT100 instead of XYZCLNT100.

please let us know how to get this entry out of the table .

 

Does report /SAPAPO/CHECK_LOC help us in this case? if so which options should i select. or let me know any other options if available

Unreleased Prod Order deletion in APO not transferred in ECC

Hi,

 

I have a situation where it's possible to delete an unreleased production order directly in RRP3.

However, the production order in ECC does not get changed (it could at least be flagged for deletion).

The result is then no order in APO and 1 order in ECC.

 

Is this the standard behavior (I cannot test in a clean system)?

RLCDELETE Not deleting the orders with category FA

While deleting the orders with category FA through RLCDELETE, It's showing the error that 'No orders in Live Cache'.

CTM Late Demand Fulfillment

Hi All,

 

I have the following problem in the CTM application. I have one location with a customer order and a firmed planned order. The firmed planned order has a goods recipe date one month later than the goods issue date of the sales order. When I run the CTM another planned order is created at the goods issue date of the sales order. I expected that the firmed planned order has been taken by CTM to fulfill the demand. 

 

If have therefore allowed the late demand fulfillment for 100 days and set the strategy to the domino strategy.

Has anybody an idea what parameter I have to set.

Preq & SNP Planned order not ciffed to R3 / ECC (Item not in CIF errors)

Dear All,

 

I am facing one weird issue in which Preq & SNP Planned order not getting ciffed to R3 / ECC.

We are using CTM with fixed pegging and due to which R3 MRP at plant are wrong because not transferred from APO to ECC.

 

I did few below checks:

Preq/Planned orders errors discrepancy not showing up in CCR.

No error in CPP

IMs are ok

Distribution definition and other SPRO setting ok as issue is with few materials.

 

any comment from expert or person who faced similar issue?

Sales Order object is not getting generated for Integration models

Hi,

 

I am using CIF for Sales orders objects in integration model with Product and Plant specific.

When I add the sales Order object for specific products and Plants, it is not showing the Sales order object for that specific plant & Material.

But When I add it in other Material Model it is considering the Sales Order object.

/SAPAPO/CURTO 022 : Component assignment 1XXXXX to dynamic setup activities 001000000008 S not allowed

Hello All:

 

During the CIF process of a PPDS PDS I do get the following as an informational error while using the CURTO_CREATE transaction ?

When I display the PDS in APO using /sapapo/curto_create in APO I see that the components are appearing twice one under setup activity and one

 

under the produce activity.

I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue ? Is this a master data / CIF issue ?

No Authorisation to Create PDS

Dear all,

 

We are transferring PDS from ECC to APO. However following error message appeared while sending PDS to APO.

 

 

We have checked its integration Model & seems to be OK.

checked authorization for t code & found OK.

 

Can some one suggest us why this error occurred.

How to enable Auto Complete option in SAP

Hello Guru,

i want to enable my auto complete option in my system so as to get the past transaction or any codes quickly by pressing SPACEBAR, all other systems have this feature, they just by pressing spacebar get their TCodes or any inputs instead of typing the whole.

i also tried by getting into customizing layout in SAP system and turned on its history, but still its not coming. what may be the reason???.

all my colleagues have this feature in their system. and even after changing their setting its coming

 

pls revert asap, as i will not waste my time in writing the whole Tcodes.

SNP planned order deleted in APO, but not in R/3.

OK Guru's,

 

We have a situation where during the weekend SNP planning runs, SNP Planned orders are deleted in APO, but the order is never deleted in R/3.  The change pointer is not in CPP and there are no failed queues.  Also, when you run CCR on planned orders, we will get an error on some orders saying "Not in APO" and the only option to reconcile that order is to "Send to APO".  The option that should exist is "delete in R/3" becuase the deletion never occured in R/3.

 

If you send the order back to APO, the order will show in the "Production Confirmed" line of the Planning Book.  This is because APO is thinking that this order is an order that was created in R/3 when in fact is it really is a SNP planned order.

 

Any clues to why this would happen?

APO - PPDS Alert Monitor

Need help in configuring the following PP/DS alerts:

 

 

 

 

Alerting exceptions on inventory levels throughout the Planning Time Fence (PTF). These exceptions are
defined as follows:

 

1.   Inventory on hand in Planning Time Fence > 12 Months 

2.   Inventory on hand in Planning Time Fence < 'x' months (where 'X' is to be selectable)

 

 

Request your inputs on this.

 

I have tried looking into BAdI's but not able to configure the above.

DP Forecast release to ECC

Hi ,

 

This is related to DP forecast release to ECC. Distributed definition is configured for PIRs in APO . The product and location master existing in both ECC and APO . When transferring the forecast(Transfer profile, planning book, data view updated with the job), post execution , successfully transferred to ECC. It got failed in ECC inbound with the error "06/01/1993 date lies before start of factory calendar" . There is no point in configuring/ extending the factory calendars past 20 years .

The question here is

why would it transfer/trying to transfer past forecast to ECC ?

 

Because I have seen /SAPAPO/C3 logs which shows clearly that the outbound (PIR) queue tried to transfer the past forecast to ECC (starting from 1993) .

How can we control this and make sure it transfers the needed forecast only . (Possibly to transfer future forecasts as PIRs in ECC)

Issue in BADI SMOD_APOCF005

Hi Gurus,

 

I am facing and issue in BADI SMOD_APOCF005.  I have a scenario where i have to update an Demand Profile in the Material Master of SNP.  So i activated this BADI and the code is written.  The problem is while doing CIF the Demand Profile is not getting updated, its only get updated at the time of changing the Master data in ECC .  Below is the ABAP code for the same

Mass Deletion of inconsistent orders

Hi All,

 

Our LiveCache has some inconsitent data which i am trying to delete. I can see the data in rrp3 view.

 

This data is result of database copy from other system and now there is mix up of orders. Inconsistent orders are seen with no order numbers (<unknown>) and that is how i diffrentiate.

 

Things that i have tried:

1. Consitency checks (OM17)

2. CCR - (even after adding the system name in logical systems from which it was copied). The orders did not get captured.

3. Tried reports rlcdel and pp_order delete to capture those but it fails to.

 

Observations:

1. In transaction /sapapo/om16 i can see few orders in liveCache without any details except order GUID and start and finish dates. I could locate other consistent orders here.

 

2. I could delete entries by giving the order GUID in report  /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS but there I could input only one value of GUID and on executing it deletes the order from LiveCache successfully.

 

The Question:

Is there any other report where i can give a range of Order GUID to process them in Mass?

Incorrect Fixed duration in SNP PDS

  Hi,

 

We are maintaining the capacity for “SNP Bucket Capacity” with number of periods as 7 days for resources in SAP APO.


However when we CIF the PDS the fixed duration for the activity is getting populated as 1 Day instead of 7 Days.

  

I have attached the document with setting for reference, request you to provide your input to resolve the issue.

APO Demand Planning in FMCG

Hi All,

 

I believe in FMCG industries the actual demand might vary to a large extend than the APO DP generated forecast considering the shorted horizon in future. Will there be any specific functionality within DP that is used to mitigate this risk.
