Forecast not getting reduced by incoming Sales order

Hi All,

 

We have a product with strategy 20 : Planning with final assembly in APO. I have a forecast for a future date for 10 units. Now I have created a sales order in ECC for 5 units and this is visible in rrp3 along with the above forecast. However the forecast quantity is not reduced as per the sales order quantity. My expectation is once the sales order for 5 units comes into rrp3 then the forecast should get reduced corresponding and should be changed to 5 units from 10 units.

 

I have checked the consumption mode which is backward-forward and both the forecast and the sales order fall exactly on the same date in future.

 

Can you please let me know what could be the issue.

CTM is generating dependent demand on Phantom Assembly instead of components of Phantom Assembly

Hello Folks,

 

I am using CTM with Bucket-Oriented planning and SNP Orders along with SNP PDS. I have a FG with has components and a phantom assembly in the PDS. When CTM is executed, dependent demand is generated on the Phantom Assembly instead of the components of Phantom Assembly. Is this standard behavior, can this be prevented by using any planning parameter?

 

FG - A

Phantom - P - ( Phantom components P1,P2)

Component - X1

Component - X2

 

 

I also use PP/DS where there is dependent demand generated on the components of Phantom Assemblies but we run CTM prior to PP/DS for business benefits.

SAP APO UPDATE MASTER DATA OF PRODUCTS

Hi experts,

 

If I want to make a transaction that update for example the following fields of the product - location (transaction SAPAPO/MAT1)


Do I have to use the BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2  or the ABAP programm can update directly these fields?

 

1) Product Heuristic

2) SNP Production Horizon

3) Safety stock

transfer of data from ecc to apo system

in my snp planning book the data for the keyfigure current stock is not updating...

 

tell me where the problem lies???

How to resolve it.....transaction code that i need to check???

Why this transfer from ecc to snp didnt happened???

PDS change with ECN

Hi,

 

When making any changes to the PDS in ERP (say BOM) that is using ECN, then this is creating a new PDS in APO which means the PDS in APO is doubled.

Can any one suggest about changing PDS with ECN, is this by standard?

Overall Profile does not open with correct Heuristic Profile

I have an Overall Profile for the planning board with a custom Heuristic Profile setup as the default for that Overall Profile in /SAPAPO/CDPSC0 and yet, when the planning board is opened with that Overall Profile, the Heuristic Profile is set to SAP002 instead of the custom profile. The custom Heuristic Profile works fine with other Overall Profiles just not this specific one and I don’t know what else to check. Any guidance provided will be appreciated.

How to enable Auto Complete option in SAP

Hello Guru,

i want to enable my auto complete option in my system so as to get the past transaction or any codes quickly by pressing SPACEBAR, all other systems have this feature, they just by pressing spacebar get their TCodes or any inputs instead of typing the whole.

i also tried by getting into customizing layout in SAP system and turned on its history, but still its not coming. what may be the reason???.

all my colleagues have this feature in their system. and even after changing their setting its coming

 

pls revert asap, as i will not waste my time in writing the whole Tcodes.

Hello, i am trying to make a forecaste when i insert manual  historical data in the univariate forecast tableau.Ist possible to save them but when i start the forecast i receve the errormassage: "Not possible to carry out the forecast - no historical data Message no. /SAPAPO/MA502"

New requriment types for SNP optimization

Hi colleagues,

 

A standard SNP mantains planning with only 3 types of requirement: customer demand, corrected demand forecast and demand forecast. I can define 3 key figures to say to SNP optimizer “who is who” using standard KF functions 1001, 1002 and 1003.

But I need to define for one product-location 6 different types of forecasts with different ND costs. 

 

Questions:

  1. Is it possible to add requirement types to use it in SNP1 tab of a product master?
  2. Is it possible to create a customer key figure function to map a customer key figure with a new requirement type?
  3. Is it possible to force an optimizer to take into account new requirement types as new demand classes?

interval between setup and produce activity

Hello Experts:

 

We are using CTM (time continuous) to create PPDS planned orders. I am observing significant interval duration between the setup and produce activity for certain planned orders.

Also when I clicked on the order details I found the interval details as per the screenshot

Hello Experts:

 

I am using handling resource but I am excluding this resource in my overall PPDS scheduling board profile. As such whenever I am trying to schedule a product that has GR processing activity in its planned order, I am getting an error as shown below in the image.

When I include the handling resource in the overall profile then I don't get this error. As per SAP standard behavior in the link above the GR processing activity is not supposed to generate capacity requirements on a handling resource.

 

Is anyone else facing this issue ? Does the handling resource need to be included in the overall profile. This would cause severe performance related issues ?

Block Planning without configuration

Hi,

Am trying to carry out block planning without configuration, i.e. I don't want to create materials with classification 300. I am following what SAP has suggested in the help portal:

 

Process Flow

Production Data Structures:

Sie ...

       1.      In the ERP system, classify the routing operations in a class with class type 018.

       2.      Transfer the class characteristics to SAP APO.

Transfer the characteristics via the integration as additional characteristics as the classes with class type 018 are not transferred to SAP APO (see Integration of Classes and Characteristics).

       3.      Create a class with class type 400 in SAP APO, and assign the characteristics to it.

       4.      Define blocks on the relevant resource using the characteristics of the class.

       5.      Transfer the master data (BOM and routing) as production data structures to SAP APO.

       6.      The order is transferred to SAP APO via the product.

       7.      In SAP APO, the order is scheduled in the relevant block based on the characteristic value assignment at the operation.

 

In step 5, I am facing an issue. When I am trying to CIF the recipe as PDS I am getting this error:  "Class type 018 is not defined - data cannot be transferred."(This is already stated in the above steps)


Now as a result of this, I am not able to bring the characteristic value of the activity based on which the correct block will be assigned. Has anybody else faced this problem? What is the way out?

APO planningboard mouseover information

Dear all,

 

For the detailed scheduling planning board, we have two different profiles. In profile one, the mouseover is showing order description and start+end date.However, in profile two, it is showing the article number also - which I think is desirable. I would like to setup this the same for profile one.

 

Where is this behaviour maintained?

Default Tolerance % in planning book using macros

Hello Friends,

 

Need your advise on below questions.

 

Question 1:

 

I have created a macro to populate tolerance % as default in planning book with AGG_LEVEL at sales org. Macro is working and tolerance % is populating as 10% by default if I select sales org

 

I am able to change the default value in PB with different value but system taking default value only when I saved the data in PB

 

How can I override the default value?

 

Question 2:


My CVC comprises different characteristics that are Sales org., Dist, channel, Business area, customer group and Sold To


Tolerance is populating at Sales org level as mentioned above. If click on Details level at Sold to, tolerance % is distributing to different sold to customers which includes wild card

 

Is there any way to stop distributing tolerance % to different Sold-To's?

 

Is there any possibility to make default tolerance % at Sales Org, Business area and Sold_To (as wild card) combination?

 

Question 3:


Created a another macro to make key fig as editable at AGG_LEVEL for Sold-To using ROW_INPUT operator. In this case also macro is working but default value is populating as 1 in all periods.

 

Where can I check value "1" which is coming by default in PB?

How to resolve "Obsolete Time Stream" error when we ran report /SAPAPO/OM_UPGR_TSTR_CHECK for a planning area?

 

Basically i want to fix Live Cache inconsistencies in DP time series , i tried to fix in /n/sapapo/om17 but not working.

Load Planning Book in Infocube

Hello, i want to save forecast in Infocube but i have to change the semantik of the keyfigures in the planning area to 002.

When the sematik is 001 the Datasource don`t work.

When i change the semantik to 002 i have to delite the time series, so the planing book content no data to make a forecast.

How can i fix this trouble?

Target stock level Method with CTM

Hi Team,

 

I intend to use target stock level method for the CTM planning. I maintain the target days supply at product master level, there nothing plan for those many days of supply. Can some one advise how can I plan with this method.
