traditional MRP

Hi

 

I am seeing a very peculiar way things are conducted here ,usually a client will do MRP run in ECC followed by capacity planning  after a period of time say after 2 or 3 years after the first implementation  when the system has stabilized  they will migrate to APO for better planning .This is a general scenario .But with my current client they haven't attempted traditional MRP so far .ECC MRP MD01 stuff  has not been conducted not even once,and no APO SNP /PPDS MRP run has also  not been conducted successfully so far ,but now after a lull they are attempting to straight away embark on PPDS MRP run for the first time- what will be fall out of it of this ??

 

Tomorrow when i meet the management i want to prevail upon them to try traditional MRP first ,what should be the rationale i should suggest to convince them to try tradional MRP  first.

ATP Information from R3 system is not coming

Hi,

 

I have an issue in ATP check. I have implemented BADI CRM_ATP_INFO_BADI to retrieve automatic schedlin information, but still the information is not coming. This is for service order transaction type, and the configuration for ATP check at item category level is done.

 

Method - TRIGGER_EXECUTION.

  CV_TRIGGER_AUTOMATICAL = 'X'.
  CV_CONF_MODE = 'D'.

Wrong CCR(/sapapo/cif_deltareport3) results for purchase order

Hi All

 

We have a problem with CCR report /sapapo/cif_deltareport3 for purchase orders.

After executing the report when load the saved results we are getting orders with error code 181(Schedule line does not exist in APO) as missing in APO.

Tried to push these orders to APO. Even after iteration the orders with error still exists.

 

I checked the orders with 181 errors. They are already existing in APO which means there is no inconsistency between APO and R3 for these orders.

 

When I try to run CCR for single materials with 181 errors its not showing any inconsistency.

 

I found a note # 1379288 which is similar to our problem. But this note is already implemented in our system.

 

Please suggest any solution or relevant SAP notes for this problem.

SAP GUI 730 and 720 not working completely WINDOWS 8

Hello Dear colleagues, we are having problems with Windows 8 and SAP GUI 730 and 720 working in APO PPDS in transaction /SAPAPO/CDPS0 specifically in some detailed functions like: “Select Objects for the same order”, “Order processing” and “Show Relationships/Pegging Relationships”.

 

In order to replicate this error you need:

 

1) LOG ON INTO SAP SCM:

 

*With SAP GUI 730 or 720 in any patch level and Windows 8 single language.

 

2) Go to Transaction: /SAPAPO/CDPS0

 

3) Right click and use functions:

 

a. “Select Objects for the same order”

b. “Order processing”

c. “Show Relationships/Pegging Relationships”

 

I hope you have some information to solve this,

Type Any Table declaration

Hi ,

 

I want to use the function module /SAPAPO/TS_PLOB_LIST_GET to retrive the CVC values and this FM has one of the exporting parameter (ET_PLOBS_IN_VIEW) is defined as 'TYPE ANY TABLE'.

So in my program, when i call t his function module, how do i define this table ?

Please note that i need to distribute this program to different customers, and each customer may have different structure(custom CVC). so the deffination should work for all.

Calculate transportation distance in /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1

Hey gurus, I'm trying to integrate a third party software application to calculate the transportation distance in /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1/.

 

I have already create a function module that calls the 3rd party software.  Is there somewhere in the code for this program, /SAPAPO/SAPLOO_TR_TLANE_MAINT, where it calls a user exit or a BADI where I can insert my code??  I can't find one.

Alert notification with excel attachment

Hi ,

   i am trying to get the alerts through email with excel attacment. i have made all the required setting and executed the program ANOTPULL. i got the alert notification email with excel attachement.

 

But the problem is i am NOT getting the desired format in the excel attachement. alerts were displayed in rows instead of column

 

Supply shortage of 100 % (DB alert)

APO Location = 1000

APO Product  = 1005555

Data View    = SNP_WEEK

 

Supply shortage of 140 % (DB alert)

APO Location = 1010

APO Product  = 1005556

Data View    = SNP_WEEK

 

 

But i need in the following format

 

1000 1005555 Supply shortage of 100 % (DB alert) SNP_WEEK

1010 1005556 Supply shortage of 140 % (DB alert) SNP_WEEK

 

I have enabled "column" tick mark in the message profile still i am not getting the desired format.

 

Please help me to get the desired format? Do i need to go for BAdi ? Is it can be done without enhancement ?

CIF Master / transaction data changes

Hello

 

I have some basic questions on CIF, please address them

 

I see the current set up  - all master / transaction data changes are transferred via scheduled batch jobs(daily), one for CFM1 and another for CFM3

CFM1 will create integration model and CFM3 will activate the newest version

Master data includes material master , work centre ,BOM, PDS, info record , scheduling agreement

Transaction data inlcudes storage location stock, sales orders etc

My understanding is that this daily jobs (CFM1 / CFM3) will not retransfer everything but only the delta change - please correct me if I'm wrong

 

Issue 1

- at times we see that some changes made to the material master never comes into APO, like say deletion flag set at MRP area level, planning time fence changed etc

 

so we do CFM1 /CFM3 for the respetive part , execute the program RIMODINI , after that we will see the changes in APO

  1. Is this a stnadrd CIF inconsistency experienced by everyone else there is a way we can stop this ?
  2. Challenge is we never know which product missed the update until some one from business and inform us , is there any workaround to avoid this ?

 

Issue 2

 

  1. Recently we were reported that work centre interval and shift changes are not reflecting in APO(RES01 - display capacity profile) , upon testing we found that changes will only go to APO after executing RIMODINI and not just regular CFM1 and CFM3
  2. But I'm advised to use CFP1 to transfer work centre changes after setting immediate transfer in CFC9 , my question is why CFM1/CFM3 will not transfer the changes that I make to work centre , but it works with RIMODINI
  3. under what scenario / circumstances we use transaction CFP1 ( we have not used this transaction before )and how is it different from CFM1/CFM3  ?

 

Please help me in understanding overall functionality of CIFF

I tried by creating new order for the product whose recipe has this BADI added, but it did not trigger the creation.

SCM 7.0 EHP1 to EHP3, technical changes for ABAPers

Hello Experts,

 

Can someone tell me if there are any technical changes especially ABAP related during enhacement upgrade from SAP SCM 7.0 EHP1 to EHP3?.

 

Also, what types of ABAP objects are created in SAP SCM 7.0 system?  I have never worked on SAP SCM development and would like to hear

from you.

Error in RPM run - Missing Flag Parameters

Hi Friends,

I am facing one issue with RPM Run (Tcode:/n/sapapo/seq2) . System shows me error error rpm.JPG

 

I tried debugging it and found that there is one procedure in FM MMRP_L2_STORE_POSVARS.

 

Procedure : RPM_STORE_POSVARS

 

It returns table LT_RC that contains ERROR_OBJECT_KEY and other related information.

 

Kindly suggest me what the issue can be or some sap note related to this issue.

Issue with arrival time with single schedule line in sales order

Hi ,

 

In my sales order, when the I have two schedule lines for the item, then I'm getting the arrival time in the shipping tab of the item schedule line. But when I change the reqested delivery date to get the single scedule line , then I'm not getting the arrival time .If I maintain the goods receiving hours at unloading point tab of ship to party , am getting the  arrival time. Is it mandatory to maintain that?

Report for importing capacity reservations RES01

Hi everbody,

 

we used the Import capacity reservations from SNP function offered in transaction RES01 and it worked fine,
However we are wondering whether there is a report that provides the same functionality, since we do not want to

perform the tedious task for each ressource.

APO DP Forecasting models

Hello Guys,

 

in DP Implementation who is responsible to choose the correct forecasting model, would it be the business team or configuration team. And for the first time when loading the history is it recommended to use the Auto model to let system generate the best fit or any other thoughts from you experts.

DP Master Data for CVC

Hello Experts,

 

We are implementing APO DP from begenning and i would like to know that how does the Master Data CVC gets created in APO, and does the master data history has to come from ECC via CIF or do i have to create a CVC combinations based on the sales history that comes from ECC to APO BW cube, i am little confused on how CVC gets generated. I already have all the Characteristics created in APO BW all i need to know how will i generate the master data CVC when setting up the system for first time.

Storing Results of ABC/XYZ classification in EHP2.0

As we know that EHP2.0 offers the facility to perform ABC XYZ analysis in demand planning


I wanted to know where are the results of this analysis stored in the system e.g. any BAPI or Table Name from where I can retrieve these results

Hiding of Key Figure at two different Detailed Level .

Hi Expert ,

I need to build one macro who can possibly work for two cases : -

 

1st Case : When we load the data to planning book and go for one of the Navigational Characteristics to select one entry and load it , then two key Figure automatically get hide at that moment at the initial . Both key Figure are the time based disaggregration Key Figure .

 

Next selection

 

2nd Case : When we go to one of the Navigational Characteristics and selected " Detailed All level " condition  then again the above two key Figure shouldn't display . Currently without any selection both are appearing again and displaying the total value against these key Figure  at the Detailed all level conditon .

 

Please someone can look into this and reply with the expert comment .

Minimum spliting quantity of quota arrangement in APO

Dear All

 

we want to apply quota arrangement in planned PR of APO. now we face a problem. the minmun spliting quantity in quota arrangement setting doesn't work.

the Scenario : we want system to generate planned PR according quota arrangement only when demand quantity is exceed 100000.

SAP told us, this function is only effect in PPDS planning. But we use CTM planning. Is there any possible solution to fulfill our requirement without changing planning type ? enhancement or something like that . Thank you !!!
