CFC9 settings for re read stocks and Reduction Quantities.

Hi Gurus,

 


We had stock inconsistencies heavily. We went to SAP and they suggested to select re read stocks option in CFC9.

When we selected the option and ran batch job for CCR, it was running morethan 20 hours as ususallu it will complete in 2 hours. Finally we cancelled the CCR job and withdrawn the option for re read stocks.

 

Now there are thousands of inconsistencies shown in CCR job spool report but they are not getting corrected when we process them.

 

We are facing Account Assignment issue and as per the suggestions we applied Filter Objects Reduction Requirements.

Are there any pre requisite for this option and any side effectsby selecting this option.

Hi, experts.

I need to get sales order and purchase order from live cash. And after some research I find the function module /SAPAPO/OM_PEGID_GET_ORDERS which could get orders by pegid, but I am confused by the parameters. What is the data returned from tables ET_ACTIVITIES(Table of Activities),ET_INPUTS(Table of Input Nodes),ET_OUTPUTS(Table of Output Nodes)?  What is input node? What is output node? What is the relationship between input node and output node?

Need advise on the following,for a trading company procure products from sources & deliver to the distribution centres,is it possible to optimise in SNP,i defined sources as production plants & destination points as disrtibution centres,defined supply chain model in Supply chain engineer,the output should be how sources should be allocated to destination & the quantity

Lot size by period in PP run in SAP APO

Hi,

 

I need one clarification for PP heuristic run in APO.

 

I have set PPDS horizon as 2 days in material master.

 

Lot size procedure by period 1 W

 

Demand at DC are

 

D1    D2   D3  D4

10    20    30  40

 

My expectation that PP will only consider the demand in PP horizon and will generate 10+20=30 purchase req whereas i am getting output as 10+20+30+40=90(adding all demand in 1 W)

 

Please suggest if this is correct behavior.

Hi,

I use this forum quite a bit and I also more often than not use my iPad or iPhone for the same. What I have found is that I am unable to post a reply from either of these 2 devices. That would have been really great. Is there something to be done at the device level to enable this functionality?

The descriptions for materials are not being updated automatically inside of APO

Hi All,

 

We did some changes in material master descriptions in ECC. After the weekly run of integration models also these changes are not updating in APO.

 

Please let me know do we need to changes in integration models or CIF settings.

MASSD updates all location product values when we change only one location

Hello SCM experts,

We are using SCM 702.

We are trying to change a particular value in SUBC vendor location product which was extended during PIR/PDS CIF transfer from ECC to APO. System changes the same values at all location products. With results we are losing the actual location lot size parameters. This started happening after our support pack upgrade a week ago for SCM 702. Anyone experienced the same issue and resolved?

 

For your information we noticed after support pack upgrade some values in lot size tab are copied from actual location product during SUBC location extending. Before the upgrade all zeros used be there. These are now copied from actual location and additionally we can't use MASSD to chage. Appreciate if you share your experience in this.

I'd like to create a ratio in which I could calculate the number of planned order in the bucket.

Would you have an idea to do this functionnality?

 

Ex:                                    Week 15.2015      16.2015     17.2015

Planned order                                   200          150               150    

Number Planned order                        4               3                    3

SNP to PPDS order conversion

Hi,

 

I am trying to do small testing over PP run in SAP APO.

 

I have created everything manually in SAP APO(Product,location,No source of supply at Plant)

 

When running SNP at plant getting planned order without source of supply.Now i am trying to convert the same order into PPDS order using program(indicator is set).

 

Getting the below error:

 

"In-house production 188401198 is not valid for the conversion"

 

 

Any suggestion if this conversion is posible?

resource xxxxxx doesn't exist

Hello Everyone

 

I am getting an error ' resource xxxx doesn't exist' while CIFing .

 

the above is a capacity ID & corresponding workcenter can be found from CRHD table.
The WC is present in ECC as well as in APO( with the changed resource name).
Using RCIFIMAX, i did a consistency check also and everything was found consistent.

 

There has been a previous post on this but that doesn't solve my query

SPP-Deployment- Triggers

Hi SPP Experts!

 

We do have the Trigger in SPP_Deployment for the following:

 

SPP_FR_CHANGED                  Change to Fixed Demands, Receipts

SPP_PICK_DENIAL                     Pick Denial

SPP_PULL_DEPLOYMENT        Pull Deployment Trigger

SPP_REPL_INDI_CHANGE        Replenishment Indicator Changed

SPP_STOCK_ADJUSTMENT     Stock Change

SPP_WAREHOUSE_RESTR      Location Product Locked by Storage

 

 

 

Is there any Trigger for CHANGE IN DEMAND. --(Normal demand like sales orders, Stock trnsfer order, forecast change, etc)

 

If we receive any demand at one child plant, today, that will become over due the next day,

then we expect a trigger should happen and in the deployment run, child plant should get the product from the Mother plant.

Real Time deployment

Hi SAP Experts,

 

I would like to understand more details on real-time deployment functionality of deployment. Does real time deployment works for multi-level location scenarios ?

 

As I understand the real time deployment first runs the SNP heuristics to consider the latest demand supply situation but does it run the heuristics for the entire network for that product or only look at the location connected one level up from the supply location ?

 

Example:  I have a Markets A, B and C which are connected to in-stock locations X, Y and Z which send the net requirements to the plants A B C.

 

My supply chain is plant 1, 2, 3 are connected to stock locations X, Y and Z and which in turn are supplying to each markets A, B and C.

 

If I want to run the real time deployment using supplying plants 1,2 and 3  

  •   the real time deployment will only deploy receipts to in stock locations X, Y and Z (which is one level up from the plants) or
  •   Will I see the deployment results at markets A B and C (all through the network upto the markets)
  •   Does it looks at low level codes in the network while running the heuristics for the product.


Real time deployment at supply locations only look at in stock locations Z, Y Z or when it runs the heuristics it actually runs the heuristics at the market locations A, B C to update all the net requirements at X, Y, Z and then run heuristics at X, Y, Z to calculate net requirements for plants 1, 2, 3 and the deploy in reverse order up the way to markets from supply plants. Does it looks at low level codes in the network while running the heuristics for the product.

Multiple Integration Model Active

Orders are not created for certain products on DS board.

Hi Gurus,

 

I am facing an issue while manually creating order on DS board for a product.When creating order system throws an error "Mode linkage with primary resource". I have checked the recipe relationship and there is something different in relationship what i have observed.If we check the activity relationship in APO there is a START-START relationship between operation A and operation B,but same thing if we check the relationship between these operation in recipe the relationship is not maintained. I have created the relationship in in Recipe,deleted the PDS and CIFed the Prod version to APO.Now the relationship which i had created is observed as well as the earlier relationship which was already visible in APO is also visible.

 

So there are 2 relationship visible

 

Op A - Op B - Start-Start (Earlier Creation date )       

Op A - Op B - Start-Start(Today's date)

 

Please suggest what should be done in these scenario.How to remove the duplicate Activity Relationship from APO.

PDS -Integration and change transfer

Dear Experts,

 

We have large number of product_location selection for PDS integration and change transfer which are periodically updated in regular intervals.

PDS integration does not take too much of time while executed in background.

But, lot of time is required to complete change transfer (CURTO_CREATE).

 

How can we reduce time required for change transfer and Obsolete PDS deletion ?

 

Pls suggest..

Long running /sapapo/TS_LCM_REORG

Hi,

 

We are running /sapapo/ts_lcm_reorg, however even after running for 7 hours the job did not complete.

 

We are running with option

1. check superfluous objects

2. Repair

3. Lock PI

 

Is there alternative using which we can improve the performance of the program as we cannot keep the planning version of production system locked for long periods.

 

Please suggest.

Extraction of production calendar
