Increasing inventory level
Hi,
I have a problem with SAP APO and increasing inventory levels. I would appreciate your help in this issue.
The forecast accuracy for our products is very good and we don't have any issues in the production planning. But our inventory level is increasing. How can I diagnose where the problem could be? What are the main settings that I need to look at?

Planned Order for a Product not being shown
Hi Experts!!
I am an ABAPer and I am new to SAP APO. We are now working on /SAPAPO/PPT1. When clicked on some quantity, all the planned orders existing for that product are being shown with respective quantities. Now, I am trying to create a new planned order for a product through FM BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 by splitting the quantity among the receipts. I have gone through several posts and have written the logic. But the newly created planned order is not being shown in /SAPAPO/PPT1. I can't find it anywhere. Am I doing something wrong here?
Here I explain it with an example. I have an aggregated entry for the month of June with quantity 3000, which is already split under receipts 1234 and 1235 as 1000 and 2000 EA respectively. Now, I need to split it as 1000 EA for each planned order and hence am creating a new plord. I am using same FM for changing plords as well with quantities as 1000. So, now both the receipts are being shown with quantity 1000 and the aggregated value as 2000... and the newly created one is missing. But I need the new one to be displayed and the aggregated should be 3000. Why is this happening? Am I missing something?
I already have posted a query that is related to this total requirement. Change Receipt Quantity for Planned Order in LiveCache . This has the first part of the total requirement. Just provided for extra info, but not related to this issue however.

Create product version during CIF_PROD
Hello experts,
I'm trying to find a way how to during sending material from ERP to APO, create product version too. Probably it should be possible by passing product version data to FM '/SAPAPO/DM_PRODUCTS_MAINTAIN' which is called in /SAPAPO/CIF_PROD_INBOUND.
I have set MATVERS in the structure /sapapo/ext_matkey, but it seems that it's not enough.
Has anyone an experience with this function module? What should I set in importing parameters to create product version?

Navigation settings in Planning Book
Hi Experts,
I made following changes in Navigation in PB.
I changed the Planning Bucket Profile in the DV using period structure settings option. From Header settings -- I changed the 'Total' to 'Details(all)' option.
I went to Pivot sorting and changed the sequence of columns.
Can I save all above changes somehow so that next time these steps are not required to be repeated?

Planned Order Created in SNP has different dates in APO and ECC
Hi Friends,
I am creating plannd orders in ECC using SNP Heuristic.
Since Heuristic has 1 day as scheduling time so it creates planned order with start date : 07th June 2014 time : 00:00 and end date : 07th June 2014., time 23:59.
But when this planned order is transferred to ECC it reschedules the planne dorder accoridng to the capacity and recalculates teh date as
start date : 04th JUne 2014 and End date : 08th June 2014.
Because of this client is finding difficult to plan the materials.
Can you kindly guide me on whether we can prevent this rescheduling in ECC or transfer these rescheduled dates from ECC to APO.

Argument does not exist in Table
I am trying to transfer data from APO to R/3. My publication settings are maintained. Now when I schedule the job, SM37shows job successfully executed but SMQ1 shows the error : "Argument does not exist in Table".
What does this mean? It has the function module "CIF_PIR_INBOUND" and it says it doesnot exist. I checked in SE 37 and it does not exist. What does this mean? How can I solve the problem?

Identification of Output-Firmed SNP Planned Orders
Hi,
The client runs SNP heuristics followed by capacity levelling, through levelling or manual adjustments planned orders will become 'FIXED', and by this it means they have the check box 'Output-Firmed' set.
This is good and behaving as expected. But the query is how can I identify all of the planned orders that have been 'Output-Firmed', is there any simple report or list I can view that will show me all the planned orders that are firmed?
I have looked at Receipts view RRP4, but that is only showing the PP-Firmed flag, ALL of our SNP planned orders are set as PP Firmed as its an SNP order outside the SNP Production Horizon. (correct as per SAP standard F1 help)
I need some view or report that will show me the Output Firmed flag for SNP planned orders.
I am sure there is a simple answer to this?

Sales order from SD (R/3) are not consuming APO Product Allocations
Hi All.
Our incoming sales orders entered in SD in our 4.6c. system are checking product allocations and ATP in APO version 4 using live cache.
They are going across and hitting ATP and Product allocations, but the temporary assignment is not updating when saved. So the monthly product allocations are not being reduced.
Has anyone seen this or have any ideas on what to check?

9AMATNR issue in CVC loading-BW data
Hi Experts,
We are loading CVC's for the newly created products.
During loading we are checking -SCM data, BW data then we are getting error message 'XXXX does not exists in 9AMATNR"
When I checked Product data is available /SAPAPO/PRODCUT1
If we crated manually the newly created products in RSDMD-Basic Characterstic-9AMATNR we are not getting this error message.
How to overcome this; with out adding newly created products manually in 9AMATNR

Fixing SNP Planned Orders in SNP Heuristics
Hi,
Can someone please tell me the behaviour of fixing / firming SNP planned orders OUTSIDE of the SNP Production Horizon when running SNP Heuristics?
I understand SNP planned orders INSIDE the SNP horizon are fixed and the Heuristics run will not change them, but when a business user wishes to fix a planned order many months ahead, (outside the SNP horizon) will firming / fixing ensure that planned order remains through many heuristics runs?
What tools does the planner have to identify all the planned orders that they have firmed? This is a complaint I have received, we cannot identify which are fixed.
I am also aware of the setting in capacity levelling to leave fixed orders alone, so im not to worried about levelling, my query is around Heuristics itself.
