Blocking CIF queues
Dear All,
We are running SNP optimizer for the period of two years, we are facing problem of incorrest plannig results by optimizer since when optimizer runs therer are lot of activities happening in R/3.
So we are thinking of blocking the queues before we schedule optmizer run and then starting again when optimizer finishes.
Yes, CIF queues can be stopped from OM17 or program RSTRFCI1 but dont know the proper steps for doing that.
Please guide how to proceed ?
1) What the things we should check first ?
2) If we are blocking the queues will queues will be in waiting status or sysfail ?

Where is the Supply Profile under drop down list
Hi Folks,
I read at the following like : http://scn.sap.com/thread/1248327 that "SNP Supply Profile" could be found here:
for SNP Supply prfile
SAP MEnu -> Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Supply Network Planning -> Environment -> Current Settings -> Profiles S_AP9_75000093 - Define SNP Supply Profiles
But I am unable to spot it in my system below:
I don't see " S_AP9_75000093 - Define SNP Supply Profiles" anywhere under Profiles.
Is there anything I am missing....?
We are using SNP Profiles & I want to see the settings that had been configured in one of the following profiles :
Is there any other way to get my hands laid upon this "Z_D_SNP_02" to display/edit/modify it's parameters?

Orders flowing to other months
Hi Experts!!
We are dealing with /SAPAPO/PPT1. As per our requirement, we should limit the quantity of the orders to the max lot size of the material. And we are already getting this done through BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 (for changing the quantity if more than max. lot size) and /SAPAPO/RRP_ORDER_CREATE_FINDS (to create new orders). We are checking the data aggregating by months. Now, when we are creating new orders, surprisingly only a few orders are being flown to next or previous months. Is there any specific reason for this to happen? I am an ABAPer and we do not have any APO functional consultant around.
Any pointers are highly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!

No Forecast consumption with original quantity 0
No Forecast consumption when original quantity is 0 on sales order.
In ECC config, we use requirement class 011 where Allocation ind. is blank(No concumption with customer requirements)
In SCM config, D11 is used where BM is mapped to 01(Requested qty).
What drives original quantity on sales order to 0. This behavior with static config settings is sporadic. I looked at userexits as well to see if original quantity can be modified to match to req. quantity but could not find any place to modify original quantity. any suggestions?

CTM Master Data Selection
In the CTM Master Data Selection trying delete the Sources of Supply, it will not allow me to delete all sources at once. I need to delete page by page. Is there a fix for this issue?

Problem related to batches missing in APO
Hi All,
I am facing issue with missing batches in APO. Error log says : Error in reading stocks and it displays missing batch number .
From BMBC t-code I got materials related to the Batches.
When I try to do CCR for the materials related to missing batches in APO ,it gives an error saying materials does not exist.
When I checked in R/3 system, there are Base materials (in APO) available for the above materials( in R/3).
So Materials does not exist solution found by finding related Base material.
But then, when I tried doing RIMODINI for the base material to send Batches related to it to APO, it did not give any solution.
Still the Batches are missing in APO.
Does anyone know the alternate method to send missing batch for the material from R/3 to APO.
It gives lots of escalations in APO system due to missing batch.
Any kind of help would be appreciated .

How can I set production horizon for group of skus
Hi,
I have a problem while doing planning for few skus in APO.
Consider that there is base sku which includes 3 sub skus of same kind. For
example a product is chocolate comes in 3 flavours milk, sugar & sugar
free. Now demand is occurring for all milk, sugar & non sugar then on
taking SNP run planned order will generate on availability dates simultaneously
for all. But I want that if planned order is generating for milk then there
should be no more planned order to be generated for sugar & sugar free. It
should be shifted for next week. What I have to do for this?
Which master setting I have to maintain for this? Please help.

Distribution Multiplier issue in APO
Hi,
In our APO DP system we have a KF which is user defined Distribution Multipliers. This KF is designed to right and left fill based on the key figures having the same value. e.g. if the value to the right is the same as the current value (e.g. 1.0) change it to the new value.
Since we had an recent upgrade SAP APO Upgrade a large number of distribution multipliers have been changed, mostly so that where it should be 1.0, if fluctuates at 0.99, then 1.0 then 1.01, which breaks the right or left fill.
APO DP needs to correcting so that all of these small multiplier changes are corrected (as in where it is 0.99 moving to 1.0 moving to 1.01) these are all corrected to 1.0. Where a deliberate and specific change has been made, this should not be changed.
I also need to understand why they were changed to start with, and to ensure our processes have corrected to stop this recurring.
I have checked the macros but they only initialize the KF to 1 and dint got any that changes/rolls te value to .99 or 1.01.
Can you guys put some light on how I can handle this issue from solving and then reoccurring?

attachment for trigger jobs
Hi,
we are daily manually triggering the process chain (time is not fixed) where 5-6 jobs/programs are linked & they are exucuted.
after completion of this process chain, i need to trigger a transaction (z report) in APO & the output of that report is to be mailed to the list of users in the form of an excel attachment.
In case when a background job is scheduled, i am able get the attachment but i am not able to get the attachment through trigger based job.
pls guide how to do this is SAP APO (SCM) server.

TLB STO's created in ECC via cif are being created with Intercompany Markup
STO's created using TLB in APO when cif'd over to ECC6 get created with an Intercompany Markup. When created manually in ECC6 using ME21N the markup is not part of the pricing and is correct. Has anyone had this same situation?

Pointers for optimizing system performance (run time) while running DP process chain with parallel processing
Hi Experts,
We are running APO DP process chain with parallel processing in our company, we are experiencing some issues regarding run time of process chain, need your help on below points;
- What are the ways we can optimize process chain run time.
- Special points we need to take care of in case of parallel processing profiles used in process chain.
- Any specific sequence to be followed for different processes in process chain - if there is some best practice followed.
- Any notes suggesting ways to improve system performance for APO version 7 with different enhancement packs 1 and 2.

APOKZ blank but ECC-SCM integration works OK!
Hi Gurus,
I am surprised by this system behaviour in ECC 6 & SCM 7.02 where in I just deleted all models and created/ generated new models, activated them and did the consistency check after activation...all was good.
Out of curiosity, I checked the APOKZ field in MARC, to my surprise all materials had blank. Executed the RAPOKZFX report which came back with Error: APOKZ not set for material/ plant.
Tested my GATP scenarios by creating sales order, executing GATP check, then checked the result both in ECC & SCM was all good. Plant substitution had happened and GATP check on available stocks was done. Sales order was in SCM.
Questions: Why is 3 not set on APOKZ although my material & site combinations seem to be in an active model? and why does RAPOKZFX return with error when I try to set APOKZ indicator.
Small observation: After generating Material, ATP, Stock models (before activating them), during each of these steps consistency check had failed with warnings like material master and plant not in model. Although, after activating each of these the consistency check returned with no errors.
Just FYI - followed the following sequence still the same result:
RAPOKZFX - Program for Adjusting Field MARC-APOKZ With Integration Models
RCFUPDCR - Reorganization of superfluous CIF update counters
RCFORDCH - Check for Inconsistencies in Table CIFORDMAP
RCIFIMAX - Generate and reconcile the runtime version of active models
RCIFIMDL - Deletion of superfluous filter object keys in CIF_IM* tables
RCIFMTDE - Program for Maintaining the Materials Deactivated in CIF
RDELALOG - Delete Application Log Entries

Additional fields in shuffler.
Hi,
We added additional fields in the SNP planning book shuffler using the BADI - /SAPAPO/SDP_SELECTOR.
And when i tried to fetch the keyfigure/CVC values from this planning book using the BAPI - BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL2 i could not retrive the newly added fields from the shuffler.
Would be great help if anyone could share some thoughts on how to retrive the newly added fields from shuffler.
