Two Sales oreders linked to one SNP Dep PReq

Hi Gurus,

 

My SOs are placed against DC and it procures from Production Plant.

 

I have two SOs of same quantity (say 500kg each) of different dates at DC. There are two SNP Deployment PReqs of 500 each of different dates which procure from Production plant. But in Product view of DC when I select any of the two SO and go to pegging tab --I see it pegged to the same SNP Dep Preq. This is a bit confusing as each SO should be pegged to a different Dep PReq. ( Obviously one Dep Preq of 500 can not satisfy two SOs of 500 each !).

 

Can you please explain this behaviour ? I read somewhere that pegging in SNP is not reliable --which seems to be vary vague as otherwise SAP would not have provided pegging against SNP demand and supply elements.

 

Is there any other way of tracking (except pegging and dates) to see which SO is mapped to which Dep PReq? I need this information to track further the corresponding Planned order against Dep Preq.

Dynamic alert - not visible in alert monitor(/n/sapapo/amon1) & ZTABLE data into Macro

Hi Experts ,

 

1. Dynamic Alerts

 

I created a dynamic alert for AMO Application : APO Supply & Demand  Planning and maintained alert types (Alert Type :Information).

 

Created a Overall Profile,Maintained Planning version,Horizon(Month,No offset Value) and Application specific Alert Profile for: APO :Supply and Demand Planning.

 

Now,When i am trying to Redetermine Alerts in /n/sapapo/amon1 Transaction am not able to view any alerts.

 

What did i missed?

 

Do i need to assign Plannr in /n/SAPAPO/SDPALPR  Transaction code?

 

 

What am i trying to achieve?

I want to create a dynamic alert which triggers in my planning book,based on my business requirement.For which i will be assigning my dynamic alert to a macro.

 

2. How do i pull custom table data into a macro and populate via pop up in planning book?

 

 

 

Please share your valuable inputs.

SNP Heuristics Run in Background

For some of my materials, Background Heuristic Job is not working. Manual Heuristics run correclty for the same materials. Please let me know steps, points for why Background Heuristic Jobs fails to work for some of my materials.

Error reading material master data for transport order

Hi Experts,

 

I am getting an error message in APO system while loading the data in Interactive TLB View in change mode for some Transportation lane.

 

Steps followed are:

 

1. T code: /sapapo/sdp94. Go to SNP planning book and data view. Pull the TLB view.

    Schuffler selection: APO Transportation lane.  start Location:  to destination location.

2. The data gets loaded in display mode with STOs and Deployment Conrels visible.

3. When set to change mode. Following application error message appears in status bar

Error message: "Error reading material master data for transport order"

Message no. /SAPAPO/SNP022

 

I have executed SNP planning area initialization with master data, TS cons check, OM17 and re-conciled. Still the issue is existing.

 

Did any of you come across this issue and any inputs for its resolution are welcome.

 

The issue is mentioned in the below given thread but the solution mentioned there is not working in my case.

Hi Experts/Gurus,

 

 

I am having some basic doubts in using CCR ,i couldn't find appropriate answers around hence posting a fresh query.

 

Please share your expertise and knowledge on using CCR .

 

 

 

 

1.What is differences in content?

 

 

2.In few cases i am getting below error under "Not in Active Integration Model" and other cases Missing in r/3 with External Key.

Error ::Inbound CECC900: No IModel active for cat. Purchase Orders and Purch.Reqs, filter object 0000000000XXXXXX for system CAPO900

 

 

If the there is "No Active IM" - this message should be comming under "Not in Active Integration Model"?Why was that?

 

 

 

3.When does CCR suggest to Delete?

 

 

4.For Example : i have processed 4000 Purchase requisitions  of which some 200 were resulted in error and rest of PReq were good.How can i analyze the error PReqs?

Purchase req created after SNP run even if no T lane is there

Dear all,

I am facing a problem in few cases after SNP_APO run that STR are created with Depot for which even no T lane is created.Here in c=screen shot I have attached sample item (DHMCDDPF025 ).We can see in first attachment there is no T lane with start location as in range given (will include depot 1900) as it show "No data within selection".In second case if we see the screen shot of Product view we see that STR are generated in Location 1900 even no T lane exist.Here we know that T Lane can not be deleted and only can be given block indicator so there we can say that T lane may be deleted lateron.I have also seen STR created as this is sytem generated as per third screen shot.

I know it is not easy to analyse the exact reason but I shall be thankful if you can tell me possible causes and how to check that.

Difficulty in APO system because of putting prefix before material number.

Hi There,

 

Actually I want to know why we have to put prefixes before material number in APO where as in ECC we dont have to put that prefixes.

 

For example:

 

Material is "555555555" .

 

When we use this material in ECC as "555555555" or "000000000555555555" it is working fine.

 

But when we use this material in APO as "000000000555555555" it is working and if we use this material in APO as "555555555" without any prefix it is showing material does not exist in APO.

 

Why this is happening?

 

Can we do something  so that whether we use 000000000555555555 or 555555555 in APO  ,it will work fine.

 

Kindly help me out.

Using Dates in DP Key Figures

Hi all,

 

I have a requirement to capture a date in a key figure. I have set up the key figure as date type in RSA1, and this suggests its YYYYMMDD. But in the planning book it keeps on displaying it as 20,140,601

 

Does anyone have any tips on ways to have dates shown in Demand Planning? can i remove the comma's from just this key figure?

DP Key figure Selection Options

Hi,

 

In Excel you can set up a cell to be selected froma  dropdown with a list of options, is there anyway I can set up a key figure to be selected froma  list of dropdown options?

 

eg, my key figure is :Demand Confidence level.

 

I would like the user to be able to select one of these 3 categories:

1- 100%

2 - >75%

3 - <75%

 

How can I do this? all clever suggestions considered, even if I just ask the user to type in a value of 1, 2 or 3.. is there a way to have a key presented somewhere on the screen so they can see what each number refers to?

Any experience of APO XL business addin ?

This new feature is now available. I guess this is coming from IBP-S&OP HANA developement that is actively using the XL integration. So it is now mad available for APO community for only planning book I believe.

 

I was told this is extracting data and places them into an Excel worksheet. What is then the difference with the former DUET option that was tricky and techy.

 

Have you experienced it ?

 

All these questions as I am interested by the EXCEL integration and invested in writing a full solution since 5 years, for APO and other SAP application.

very urgent required help on i models

As the activation of integration of i models is taking long time to execute for pds batches materials .before it use to execute in 1 to 2minutes .As there are no queues has been  stucked in ecc side or apo side also even though it is taking long time >how to overcome these issue .please suggest

planning strategy

Dear Expert

 

I have gone through many threads regarding strategic group still there is slight confusion .

 

so i would like to know with live example

 

AS in bottle manufacture company

1) firstly they produce big sheets of plastic which is called sheet   then they cut into pieces of big sheet which is nothing but plastic roll.with these plastic roll they will make  bottle in required shape .so final finished product is bottle and plastic roll is also semi finished and finished product

 

 

 

so for above scenerio the planning is defined in these way for  sheet it is 10 make to stock and for plastic roll and bottle its 20 planning with final assembly

According to planning strategy sheet will be manufactured in stock it is not dependent on customer requirement

 

 

my question  starts here

1)Does my plastic roll and  bottle  are made in advance or they will be manufactured on customer requirement ??

2) how the planning with final  assembly works in these scenerio

3)For sheet how would  i come to know these much stock i need to produce I am using external planner APO??

4)Without  using demand planning is there any way to find my forecast of product

 

These could be intresting discussion

Calculate the number of Bucket Days elapsed from start of the bucket... not work or calendar days, just bucket days.

 

The result should be 11 as of today for 'December' Bucket

Can't get it right although managed to generate the macro!, I cant see the value written to the key fig

BAPI10001LOCPRDVERS2 cannot be used for updating fields for active version in BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2

Hello,

 

I have list of standard fields (around 40) like max_safety_stock, period_split, demand_profile etc; which are to be updated in the APO product master  through the BAPI- BAPI_PRDSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2. These fields are present only in the structure BAPI10001LOCPRDVERS2 and hence I used that structure to populate all the fields..But the BAPI has a restriction that -

version dep. data for active version not possible -> versionindep. data. Because of this I am not able to update the values for the version 000 through BAPI10001LOCPRDVERS2.

Is there a way apart from the extension_in structure that I can choose to update all my fields with the BAPI?

Does anyone have any experience with this BADI especially method, UCOMM_GRID_PROD. I want to rearrange values on the periodical product view based on user action on a custom button. The BADI seems to have been defined to handle custom actions but none of the table parameters being passed to the method seem changeable.

 

Eg., the parameters are

FCODE    Importing

IV_CURSOR_ROW    Importing

IV_CURSOR_COL    Importing

IT_ROWMAT    Importing

IT_PTROW    Importing

IT_PTCOL    Importing

IT_PTQUA    Importing

IT_PTQUA_N    Importing

SUBRC    Changing

 

As you can see all tables here are importing only and based on the user command I need to re-arrange the values in the table.

 

Can you provide any pointers as to how to use this method?

Transferring Shelf Life to APO on Deliveries

Hello Experts

 

 

Has anybody tried to send minimum shelf life requirements from ECC to APO on Sales Order Delivery documents ? OSS note 1548827 (Sales order Shelf life R/3 -> APO, settings in R/3) describes the master data and and CIF enhancement required to transfer shelf life requirements for Sales Orders but not for Deliveries.

 

Objective is to see customer specific shelf life requirements (maintained as batch search strategies in ECC) visible in APO for deliveries and not just sales orders.

I have one article with a periodic lot size of 2 days.

However this morning, in the TLB proposal appear this:
