SNP Planned Order with BOM having component with MRP type "PD".

Hi experts,

 

Just a quick query.

 

We have a BOM for a material FG. FG's MRP type is "X0".

All the components for this FG in BOM are not planning related thus they have MRP type "PD".

 

The question here is after SNP planning run SNP planned order is cifed in ECC.

When we see this planned order in Ta: MD13 will it show all the component list or only those component list which were in apo.

 

P.S: We are not running any MRP run in ECC.

CIF issue upon transfer of Class and characteristics from ECC to APO

Hi,

 

We are facing an issue in transferring class and characteristics to APO from ECC.

Characteristic xxxxxxxx could not be created

Message no. CLMM805

Diagnosis

The characteristic could not be created. A characteristic of the same name already exists.

 

I think we know the problem root cause, however no idea how to correct the issue.

 

Initially our ECC system of client 100 connected to APO of client 100 and all master data and transaction data moved to APO then.

we did not see any CIF issues for class and characteristic even.

 

However, due to some reasons we had to create new ECC client 400, now RFC connection is made between ECC client 400 to APO client 100.

 

We deactivated all integration models of ECC client 100 and create new integration models in ECC client 400 for CIF data transfer.

All the master data and transaction data moved to APO with out any issues, but facing issues in transferring class and characteristics with above message.

 

Can you please provide your valuble inputs what we can do to get rid of this CIF issue in this situation?

How can we distinguish between SNP planned order and PPDS planned order in ECC.

As per I know this is not provided in Standard procedure, But still if any body has any idea on this.

Dynamic Alerts are not getting generated in SNP

We are trying to generate dynamic alerts through running Alert Profile in standalone AMON1. These alert profiles are set to generate Dynamic alerts and are using the same planning book/data view/selection profile for both database and dynamic alert generation. Database alerts are being generated without any issue.

 

However, after we define the dynamic alert macros as 'default' macros in the macro builder, it starts generating Dynamic alerts. So, is that how this works always? To generate dynamic alerts, we need to have the dynamic alert macros set as 'Default ' macros?

 

 

I had read similar discussion on some forums and people have suggested the same. But the notes that they have talked about are old and not applicable to our Service Pack (one of the note mostly talked about is Note 495166 which is applicable to much older versions)

 

 

Our Service Pack- SAPKY70006

 

 

Please let me know if you have some experience in this regard. Is there some documentation available from SAP on this which confirms that Dynamic alerts only work with default macros?

SNP changes to different layout instead of user-specific

In TLB when making changes in Data Selection Period in TLB parameters, layout in Deployment Stock Transfers section changes to a different layout instead of defined default user-specific layout.

 

When opening the lane it does select the correct defined default user-specific layout - only when making changes to Data Selection Period does the layout changes. Does not occur when changing TLB Run date range or other settings in the parameters screen. Does not change layout in other sections either but only the 'Deployment Stock Transfers section'.

 

This doesnt seem to be a standard behavior as the same in not happening in Test systems.

 

Please share your inputs on this. Refer attached file for more details.

Macro using SUM function with Row & Column Relative

Hello Gurus,

 

I am trying to write a macro for the following scenario and below that is what i have so far.

 

             Col 1Col 2Col 3Col 4Col 5Col 6Col 7Col 8

When macro reads value in KF1, it should sum up the values of KF1 & KF2 until that column.

If the sum(KF2) <  sum(KF1) value, turn KF1 Cell to RED.

 

 

IF

Condition

KF1 > 0 (Frm Col1)

AND

(

Function SUM (KF1 Col1, KF1 Col9)  [ Row Relative & Column Relative set for TO]

-

Function SUM ( KF2 Col1, KF2 Col9) [ Row Relative & Column Relative set for TO]

> 0 )

Attribute ( KF1) = RED    

ENDIF



I have not checked the row relative & column relative for the from row for both Key Figures since i want the calculation to start from Col1 for each iteration and progress the TO based on iteration column. The macro just turns all KF1 cells which have values to Red. Tried mix and match with Row/Column relative but nothings working so far. Appreciate your inputs.

Planning board color

Hello Experts,

 

I have a requirement that the users want the background for weekend days to be grayed out. This is not downtime but the users would like to be able to easily identify weekends from week days. Currently the planning board does not have any background color for weekend days (Sat and Sun). Please advice how to change the background color for just weekend to gray without maintaining downtimes

Planning Book / Data View values missing

Hi Team,

 

There is strange issue, one of our business users is facing.

As per our design we have our Product Hierarchy as : Parent Code --> Material.

i.e. there can be no. of materials under one Parent Code.

 

This issue is occurring only for one user and only for 2 Codes

 

When she is loading any of these 2 codes in Monthly Planning Book, it show no data at first.

Then she drill's down at Material Level ( Detail All ) and all values are filled up correctly.

Now, when she Aggregate back to Parent code i.e  Material ( Total ), all aggregated values are available perfectly.


Note:- When she is loading the same 2 codes in Weekly Planning book every thing gets loaded perfectly.

 

  • I checked all authorizations, User setting parameters, User Profile, Selection Profile,
  • Tried checking:- SU01D, SU3, SU53

 

Please help if someone has faced such issue or similar one ?

CIF of SNP planned order.

Dear Experts,

 

How to stop change of source of supply in SNP planned order when Cifing from APO to ECC.

 

In APO SNP planned order Is created in PPM2-BOM 2 but when we see the same planned order in ECC Production version is PPM1-BOM1.

This is happening only for SNP Planned order. PP/DS planned order are working fine.

 

If this the standard behavior. How can we stop this from happening.

How to extend SAP APO SPP product master data with additional fields?

Hi, I'm an ABAP resource. just moved to APO and my client is implementing APO SPP solution. for that i have a requirement to update SPP Product master data(below are the details). please provide any details from technical perspective.

APO SPP Product Master should have the following user required fields (provided that values are populated from SAP ECC Material Master):

- Division

- External material GRP

- User plant / Generation Plant

- 3 Product Classifications (M6, M9, M10)

- Material moving average price

- Last PO price

- Final Price (ZCAP- Last PO Price and ZSTK -Moving Average Price)

- MRP controller

- Material type


The changes to these fields also have to be updated automatically in SPP.

please provide details if anybody knows how to achieve this functionality.

Product Interchangeability

Hi All

 

I have a client requirement related to product Interchangeability which goes like this:

 

In the scenario for fully interchangeable products

A <-> B <-> C

 

If we have a forecast for A, and there is no stock for A. The system will look for stock of B, then C.

If enough stock is not available, then the system creates a Stock Transfer Requisition for C.

Now, my requirement is to create an STR for A ( the original material) instead of C.

 

Please provide your suggestions on how we can achieve this functionality.

Planning book bucket start Day should reflect as per user requirement

Hi

 

We have a business  requirement where in Planning book the start day of the bucket should be viewed as user specific day , as per the standard weekly bucket, the start day is monday and end day is sunday.

User wants the start day as wednesday and end day as tuesday and another business requires start day as saturday and end day as friday

Hence this change should be user specific.

 

Can you please suggest how to achive this and if it be addressed through labelling by user exit in period labelling of data view in //sdp8b?

DP Macro

Hello ,

 

I am creating a DP Macro, I have this below questions.

 

If User is on Drill down level at Location, he can change a value for particular keyfig.

But while Save, it has to be checked that Total value remains same even after change.

It means - User can shuffle the values for Location, Increase (or) decrease but Total should remains the same.

 

How can I check this in Macro ?

APO:PPDS/SNP - PDT Consideration for Stock Transfer Preqs

A product is sourced by store S001 from Regional DC R001. In product master for S001 I specified procurement type as F and PDT = 14 days. Also maintained the transportation lane.  When I run either SNP or PPDS Heuristics,  in either case the PDT is not considered during the run.

 

By that I mean if a preq is required on May 20th in S001 the Preq Rel date in R001 should appear as May 14th. However the PDT is being ignored and the dates appear exactly the same in both locations.

 

Am I missing a master data or a parameter?

Forecast date in RRP3 & in Planning book

Hello All,

 

I have manually entered forecast for 01st of June 2015 but the same forecast is showing in previous bucket of planning book.

In this case system is showing required/available data as 05/31/2015 at 20:00:00 hours.

Please take a look at below screen snaps & help me in understanding which setting is causing this behaviour.

i want to CIF PDS from ECC ot APO. I use CF1 and CF2. as well as RIMODINI.

But still it is not updating to APO.  I need solution what wrong in it.

I am working on a Default macro, I want to check out what are all the Characteristic selected in Selection window ?

 

for Example, If I have location is selected as one of the selection , then my default macro should not trigger at .

 

Please suggest. How to check this ?
