Planning Book to display SNP Planned Order Start Date

Hi ,

 

Am using SNP Heuristic to run the MRP in APO.

After Heuristc run we generally see the planned orders in the bucket corresponding to end date of the planned order.

 

For e.g

 

Qty = 100

 

Rqmnt Date = 10.03.2014

 

GR Processing TIme = 4 days

 

Planned oRder Qty of 100 is visible on 10.03.2014 but when the user goes to Capacity Planning View then teh capacity consumption is visible on

06.03.2014.

So User gets confused as the PLanned Order qty is shown on 10th and the capacity consumption is on 06th.

My requirement is can we show the qty of 100 in the planed oRder start date instead of planned order end date.

In my e.g it would be 06.03.2014 so the capacity consumption and the planned order qty will be visible on the same day.

Urgent Help Required - PurRqs in APO not deleted

Hi,

 

When I create a sales order in R/3 a planned order and purchased requistion for the sales order is created in APO.

 

Now when I delete the sales order in R/3, the planned order in APO is getting deleted but the purchase requistion created for the sales order in APO is not getting deleted.

 

How can this be acheived?

BAPI_PBSRVAPS_CHANGEKEYFIGVAL2 - how to make rollback

Hi experts,

 

I'm using this BAPI to make a changes in planning book(using macro from one planning book to make changes in another).

I have noticed that in case I have use DESTINATION 'NONE' to make changes in the planning area, otherwise I cannot see any changes...

 

The problem is that in case of errors I need to cancel whole processing -  discard all previous changes.

 

I have tried with COMMIT_CONTROL parameter, but it didn't help - I pass value '4' to avoid commit, but changes are automatically made, just after BAPI call, event if I PERFORM apo_bapi_commit_rollback IN PROGRAM sapl10030 afterwards...

 

Is ROLLBACK of changes possible for this BAPI? I know that LiveCache is completely different that standard DB...

Forecasting and replenishment table for cost price

Hi guys,

I need to know the table name which stores the cost price in forecasting and replenishment.Can any one of you help me please? I found a table /SAPAPO/SNP15 with the field FIXCO but I did not find any entries in the table even in production.I believe F&R maintains a different table for storing the cost/purchase price. Thanks a lot !

Forecast reorganization issue

Dear Experts,

 

We are facing an issue in forecast reorganization with /sapapo/md74.

Our requirement is to delete all past forecast till last month.

To get dynamic selection in dates,I was trying to use the "to date " with end of month -1 month

ie end of month is 29.02.2016 - 1 month = 31.01.2016.

But due to the strange behavior of SAP,system takes 01.02.2016 forecast as well(even though the end date is 31.01.2016).

The problem is above logic is not working for some countries like UK.(might be due to the difference in time zone).

For UK plants,the system is picking only Jan forecast were I am expecting that the feb forecast should also be selected.

Anyone faced the same problem?

Any solution for this problem?

Please suggest.

Block downtimes shifts how to insert with block planning

Hi gurus,

We are using block planning, which at its core captures the end times of each block and then you can move them around.

But if your block is 5 hours long, and you insert a downtime over the top of it, the block then goes to zero productive time, so the next time you move any blocks, that block that was 5 hours, then goes to zero (or 1 second)

So in effect, when we try and put in downtimes and shift changes, it messes up all the block productive times and reduces many blocks to zero.

The only work around that we have found that is useful is that we insert a MASSIVE "maintenance block" which covers ALL the current month, using enhanced block maintanance, and this pushes ALL the other blocks into the future, keeping their internal commited times consistent, and then we adjust all our shifts and downtimes, which then only messes up the "maintanance block", and then we delete this block in enhanced block maintenance and all the real blocks then come back into the current time period keeping their size consistent (eg then our 5 hour original block will stretch over the downtime, but keep its 5 hour productive time consistent)

The planners hate this work around, but we can't find anything else useful.

Any ideas????

Data update from Info cube to LC- DP

Using TSCUBE sometimes, we load data in DP from current date to future periods and sometimes starting 15 days ahead to future periods.  When we are loading 15 days ahead to future periods, system deleting any data from current date to 14days in future.  I understand why system is doing this. If anybody come across this problem and how did you able to resolve it.

SNP Planning for BOM components which has MRP type PD

Folks

 

Requirement is to run SNP heuristic for a material which has BOM.However, not all components have MRP type as X0.

 

Ex:

Parent Material P1 has MRP Type X0

P1 has three components C1, C2, & C3 which has MRP Type X0, PD, X0 respectively.

 

CIF is configured to have materials with MRP Type X0. So only P1, C1, C3 materials will exist in APO product master.

 

now when SNP heuristic is run, it will generate dependent demand for components C1, C3. As component C2 will not be in APO product master, does dependent demand gets generated for this component C2 when SNP heuristic is run ?

 

Whatu2019s the standard approach ?

APO SNP Planning Book Show Product View alternative UoM

Hi,

 

I have a base UoM of BTL and an alternative UoM of CAS.

 

I can change/save in my users settings the in transactions /SAPAPO/RRP3 (Product View) and /SAPAPO/SDP94 (Planning Book) to show the alternative UoM CAS as default.

 

The problem I have is when I enter the Planning Book, load a product, right click on the product (in Selected Objects), select Show Product View and then look at the stock tab, this always shows as the base UoM BTL.  Can this be saved to show the alternative UoM CAS?

SAP SCM 7.0 EhP3

Hello all:

 

Our company is about to upgrade to EhP2 in APO (SCM) 7.0.  We found out that EhP3is delayed, but may be ready at the end of September.  We are trying to decide whether to wait or not.

 

I could not find any information on what is included in EhP3.  Can anyone provide me with details, make a suggestion on whether we should wait or point me in the right direction of any online documentation regarding EhP3?

Locking issue

Hi Experts,

 

While running the process chain it get failed due to user locking issue we will be checking in SM12.

but user is away from 2 days in this scenario how to repeat the process chain . Can we delet in SM12 is there any impact of it

Please suggest .

CIF new customers, materials...

I've checked many threads and look like there is no solution yet for delta cif for new customers, materials, etc.

 

* I'm not talking about changes

 

I'm curious to know how do you deal with that. I mean... create a new variant daly or monthly doesn't sounds good.

Planning fence time

Hi Experts,

 

If they maintain planning fence time in the system for 70 days

What are the impacts will be happen

Is in planning books for 70 days freezing period is maintained

And they cannot create a purchase requisitions for that period

 

If user wants to create manually purchase requisition how can we identify in RRP3 is PP firmed will be ticked

Can anyone advise please.

Dear All,

 

I have maintained safety stock as 2000 with safetry stock method as "SB" in product master.

When I check the //RRP3, the safety stock requirement element "SStk Req." is not showing up.

 

Is there anything that I'm missing? I tried executing product heuristics for //RRP3 but nothing is showing up.

 

When will it appear in //RRP3?

 

 

Please refer below screen shots.

GATP RBATP

Using RBATP, can I define rules of prioritization (define that customer A is more important than customer B and son on). Or with RBATP I can only define alternative PRODUCT and LOCATION? How powerful is RBATP besides alternative product and location.

How to run BAPI_POSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 and send results to R3

Hello,

 

I am currently looking for a way to sequence automatically the creation of STO using BAPI_POSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3, Order type 2 and ATP cat BM/BI, and instruct APO to send it to ECC right away.

The event_control flag in the BAPI does not accept to be combined with Order_type 2 (STO PO).

 

I am looking for a workaround like BADI or User exit to trigger the transfer once the creation is performed with BAPI_POSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3.

 

I check in BADI /SAPAPO/DM_PO_CHANGE but did not find anything.

 

Any idea ?

Drop Ship/Independent Requirement

I have a question...

 

We have plant A and Plant B.Plant A keeps the inventory of specific material X.Whenever Plant B customer orders that material we create the sales order in Plant B but in shipping location we mention Plant A.We keeps the sales office of plant B in sales order for the purpose of commissions.

 

System uses plant B sales to send in APO which is use for forecast purpose.This forecast comes as a requirement in ECC as plant B requirement.Technically material is shipped from plant A not plant B.

 

Is there a way when the requirement of materiel X comes in ECC  from APO for plant B it moves  plant A.We don't want to keep material X in Plant B. It's drop ship scenario  where both the plants belongs to one company code and Plant B customer gets the product from Plant A.

 

Please do let me know what's the correct way to tackle this in SAP.
