Resource Hierarchy (sapapo/relhshow)

Gurus:

 

I'm trying to setup a hierarchy on my resources in /sapapo/relhshow.  I'm looking to have 4 levels (I have setup the config to allow 10 levels for future expansion).  My first level is plant level.  My 2nd level is Group1.  My 3rd level is SubGroup1.  My 4th level is at the actual real Resource.

 

When I add orders in APO SNP and then go to look at the capacity on the Resources, I get a capacity requirement on my 4th Level (actual Resource) and on the 3rd Level (SubGroup1), but I do not get capacity requirements on my 2nd or 1st Levels up.

 

I attached a screenprint.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I asked 2 external consultants and they think my setup is correct, so they cannot explain why I wouldn't see capacity requirements on Level 1 and 2 (the 2 highest grouped up levels).

Difference in qty in apo

Dear Experts

 

For my process order there is difference in qty in apo when compare to R/3 Actually in r3 when i check in cor3 it is showing 50000 kg But in APO it is 0

 

i have done CCR it is showing me transfer to r/3  & apo  as per system i am transferring to APO but qty is not updating . I have checked all my queues and I model .every thing is fine   .  What could be reason ?

in my snp planning book the data for the keyfigure current stock is not updating...

 

tell me where the problem lies???

How to resolve it.....transaction code that i need to check???

Why this transfer from ecc to snp didnt happened???

Sales order open in CO09/RRP3 after delivery creation

Hi All,

 

I created sales order whose delivery and PGI is done.

However it still shows as open in CO09 and RRp3 transaction. As in the delivery number does not appear in CO09/RRP3. We can see the sales order number with requested and confirmed quantity in CO09/RRP3.

Please suggest.

with respect to this rrp4 screen below  ; It would be a good idea though to cross check with you  if my interpretation with respect to first row is rite !

then intriguing point is ; I see

 

1..confirmed quantity =0 and requirement quantity =0 (how do i correlate with that  with the above statement )

 

2. when all are plord.  then why there is a special mention of SNP:PL-ORD.in the bottom of the screen

 

Would like to know the interpretation from you in this regard as it is intriguing??

Forecast horizon in deployment

Dear All,

 

We have requirement deployment run should not consider the forecast horizon maintained in APO material master whereas SAP Std behaviour will consider it.  (it will not be considered only in deployment optimizer as per std).  We are planning for a custom development to meet this requirement.  Need your inputs on way to forward for various strategies on custom development to achieve this scenario.

In APO (Production) users observing strange behavior of Production orders. There is a between APO & ECC dates for production orders.

Actually user schedule production orders on Monday every week, these are appearing correctly on ECC side but in APO these orders are backdating (Means order of 30th week which in on Monday coming in 29th week). Which is causing double quantity of order in one week causing confusion for users. This is happening for several materials. I performed Reconciliation for those materials but it wont help.

 

I attached examples with details,

 

In first example,

For Material 7171/U0VF:

In AP1 order number 50586764 (528 qty.) is coming in 30th week instead of 31st week. Which is causing the 1056 qty. in week 30, but this not observed on ECC side which is causing confusion for users. There are more materials having same issue.

 

In second example,

For Material 12400/U0VF:

In AP1 order number 50586769 (6615 qty.) is coming in 30th week instead of 31st week. Which is causing the 13230 qty. in week 30, but this not observed on ECC side.

 

 

 

Can you please let me know is there any note I can apply to correct this or any other solution for the same

Why CTM is isolating one single product from the herd??

Hello  experts,

 

Plzs refer  screen shot

 

A  " herd " of demand elements ,products ,supplies participates  in a CTM run against a  selection of master data's,

 

having said this if

one member of the herd like product SFT25MZB   doesn't get recognized in the CTM run, rather treated as untouchable by CTM

 

Do  I have an option of running a CTM for that specific product alone ?? . but logically the essence of CTM is to work with groups and not with indiviual ,

 

its contradicting itself  isn't it? ,

PPDS Optimizer Order Creation not working

Hello All,

We trying to use PPDS Optimizer to do net change planning and create PPDS Planned Orders, within the Optimization Horizon.

We are on SCM 7.02 and using PPDS PDS.

In the Optimizer profile i tried using both options: Automatic Selection of Location Products, as well as assigning the selection profile.

But the planned orders are not being created.

 

Is there anything that i'm missing?

 

P.S: We are already aware of the OSS note 1155421 - Restrictions for order creation and understand the restrictions.

How to enable Auto Complete option in SAP

Hello Guru,

i want to enable my auto complete option in my system so as to get the past transaction or any codes quickly by pressing SPACEBAR, all other systems have this feature, they just by pressing spacebar get their TCodes or any inputs instead of typing the whole.

i also tried by getting into customizing layout in SAP system and turned on its history, but still its not coming. what may be the reason???.

all my colleagues have this feature in their system. and even after changing their setting its coming

 

pls revert asap, as i will not waste my time in writing the whole Tcodes.

Block downtimes shifts how to insert with block planning

Hi gurus,

We are using block planning, which at its core captures the end times of each block and then you can move them around.

But if your block is 5 hours long, and you insert a downtime over the top of it, the block then goes to zero productive time, so the next time you move any blocks, that block that was 5 hours, then goes to zero (or 1 second)

So in effect, when we try and put in downtimes and shift changes, it messes up all the block productive times and reduces many blocks to zero.

The only work around that we have found that is useful is that we insert a MASSIVE "maintenance block" which covers ALL the current month, using enhanced block maintanance, and this pushes ALL the other blocks into the future, keeping their internal commited times consistent, and then we adjust all our shifts and downtimes, which then only messes up the "maintanance block", and then we delete this block in enhanced block maintenance and all the real blocks then come back into the current time period keeping their size consistent (eg then our 5 hour original block will stretch over the downtime, but keep its 5 hour productive time consistent)

The planners hate this work around, but we can't find anything else useful.

Any ideas????

Please anybody help me on the shelf life planning in APO SNP, whether the standard SAP solution is possible with heuristics or not?

IF we would like to see the batch stock expiry in APO, suggest the settings needs to be done.

Forecast consumption by Movement Type 311

Hello Experts-

 

We have observed some strange behavior in APO system for forecast consumption. We have clearly observed that the Mvt type 311 in ECC is consuming forecast in APO system. can anyone know what may be causing this? and how to correct this?

Currently I install SAP SCM IDes EHP1 into Windows Server 2012 and SQl Server 2012 and during installation of uc kernel 7.20 , 7.21 I got this error message

 

" You entered: xxxxxxxxxx\xxxxxxx\51039352_8 Found the label SAP:AKK:720:DVD_KERNEL:SAP Kernel 7.20:Dxxxxxxxx:*:D51039352 but need the label SAP:AKK:72:UKERNEL:*:WINDOWS_X86_64:*

How to change Description of production version in Mass

I need to change description or arounf 21K production Version which will be populate to respective PPM.

 

Request you to please suggest optimize way to do it in Mass.

Setup Time Issue

Dear Members.

 

I am new to PPDS, I have an issue with PPDS setup group I need your help here.

 

Orders were not taking setup time into consideration. when I see the orders in the Planning Board I have not seen any setup time(start time and end time both are same).

 

In the PDS  we have maintain 3600sec for setup activity. and I have not seen any setup group assigned.

 

In the resource I have seen the setup matrix assignment.

 

Issue:


we have created the Char Values in CT04.I believe which are coming from Classification tab in Material maser R/3,

 

After that we have done the below activities.

    1.  "Maintain setup matrices for Characteristic values - /SAPAPO/CDPS_CHARMAT"

    2.  maintain rules and generating setup Groups and matrices.

 

we are not able to find the setup time for 3 orders in the planning board.

 

1st order: the setup group is maintained in the "CDPS_CHARMAT".

 

2nd Order: the setup group was not maintained in the "CDPS_CHARMAT", Though we were not maintain in CDPS_CHARMAT and PDS how the setup group is determining? which is not a valid setup group.

 

Please help me to fix the issue.

Need optimizer to ignore Warehouse

Hi team,

We are working on an emergency warehouse in APO. The Deployment Optimizer must ignore this Warehouse, but should accespt manual STOs.

 

The transportation lanes are configured like this:

 

Plant => Regular WH

Plant => Emergency WH

Emergency WH => Regular WH

Regular WH => Distribution Center

 

We want the optimizer to not consider the emergency warehouse but to be open to manual STOs.

Is there a configuration we can do in the transportation lane for it to work like this?
